The Story

The Beginning

The Tech Academy started its Journey back in 2013 founded by Shams Jaber as an alternative school for children in Dhaka. Although its initial plan was to teach every and any topic a child would be interested to learn, in late 2013 it settled with teaching only Robotics. TTA is also known as the first institute in Bangladesh to teach robotics education to children.

Through out the journey Shams has received kind support from numerous individuals and with the help of , it’s making long strives.

Later on, TTA started adding more topics to its curriculum such as programming, game development, 3D modeling and animation respectively.

Our Mission

To build a generation of young changemakers by turning learning into an adventure.

At The Tech Academy, we replace classrooms with missions where students aged 7–16 learn by doing, create real solutions, and gain hands-on experience in technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Our mission is to make education gamified, engaging, and deeply practical so that children develop the mindset and skills to shape their own futures.

We don’t just teach technology; we help students discover who they are and what they can become. Through mentorship, real-world problem-solving, and entrepreneurial guidance, we help them make informed decisions, take ownership of their learning, and build the confidence to leave a lasting impact wherever they go.

Our Vision

To empower a new generation of entrepreneurs, innovators, and problem-solvers who create meaningful change in the world through creativity, technology, and entrepreneurship.

We envision two things: a world where every learner from The Tech Academy grows into an innovator who creates opportunities, builds impactful ventures, and contributes to communities across borders. Our alumni are already making a mark globally, earning fully funded scholarships to Ivy League and other top international universities, launching startups, and driving innovation across diverse fields.

We also envision a future where our learners think independently, make meaningful decisions, and act with purpose, carrying forward the spirit of TTA by creating lasting value wherever they go.

Our stakeholders and partners take pride in this shared vision, knowing that together we are building a generation that is confident, capable, and globally relevant.

Current Progress

The Tech Academy has steadily evolved into one of Bangladesh’s most forward-thinking spaces for young innovators. Its growth has been driven not by advertising, but by word of mouth, fueled by genuine impact, inspiring results, and the trust it has built over the years.

For over 13 years, TTA has been changing how children learn and think about technology. Instead of traditional classrooms, students engage in missions where they learn by doing, explore real-world challenges, and discover their own creativity through experience. This approach has transformed learning into an inspiring, hands-on journey that shapes both skill and character.

As technology and artificial intelligence continue to reshape industries and opportunities, TTA constantly updates its curriculum, introducing new topics and refining its methods to stay aligned with the future. The academy’s philosophy is not just to teach skills, but to help students think independently, solve real problems, and see themselves as creators of change.

Over 3,000 learners have already experienced this transformative model, achieving remarkable milestones such as earning fully funded scholarships at world-renowned universities, launching startups, and contributing to innovation communities across the globe.

This journey reflects a shared belief that education must evolve with the world, and when done with vision and purpose, it can ignite curiosity, confidence, and lasting impact.
